News from PTA – November

Fall Carnival Was a Success

Thanks to all the families who came out and supported our first PTA Fall Carnival at Wilmore Davis. There were so many smiling faces and the close to $1,500 we raised will help support our school in so many valuable ways. The cake walk was a wild success with over 20 cakes that went home with deserving kids! Thanks to all who baked or bought a cake. It was a mouthwatering sight to see the tables so full of beautiful handmade cakes.

Write A Check Campaign – HUGE THANK YOU

The Wilmore Davis PTA thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for your Write a Check Campaign donations. We raised approximately $3,400 with this new approach. We are so proud of our school and the bright and community minded spirits that make up our student body and families.

Fundraising is a necessary part of our public school environment and we realize the sacrifices families make to ensure student success. Our PTA board continues to look at new and simple ways that we can fundraise that isn’t overwhelming. Our Skate City and Restaurant nights, as well as purchases through Amazon Smile are all great ways to get engaged, so please keep an eye out the rest of the year for these opportunities.
